The Las Plumas High School Thunderbirds survived a playoff thriller Tuesday, defeating Shasta High School 6-5 to advance in the postseason.

Las Plumas now moves on to face Pleasant Valley High School this Friday at 4 p.m. at PV in the next round of the playoffs.

The Thunderbirds showed resilience in a tight battle with Shasta, coming through with key plays late to keep their postseason run alive. Friday’s matchup against PV will be another tough test as Las Plumas looks to continue its playoff momentum.
