The Las Plumas Thunderbirds varsity girls volleyball team earned a convincing victory over the Lindhurst Blazers, sweeping Lindhurst in three straight sets.

Las Plumas received contributions from throughout its lineup as the Thunderbirds maintained control of the match and finished with a strong 3-0 victory. Makenzie Sills provided a spark from the service line with four aces, while Caysley Hepworth led the Thunderbirds offensively with seven kills.

Sarah Floyd directed the Las Plumas attack with 15 assists, helping set up teammates and keep the offense in rhythm. The Thunderbirds’ balanced play and contributions from several players proved to be the difference as Las Plumas closed out the straight-set win.

The victory showcased the Thunderbirds’ depth and teamwork as they continue to build momentum early in the season.
