The Las Plumas girls tennis team battled hard at home but came up short against the Orland Trojans. Despite the loss, the Thunderbirds played one of their strongest matches of the season against the top team in the league.

Las Plumas competed tough throughout the match and showed that they can compete with the best in the league. The Thunderbirds remain in a strong position at 3-1 in league play as they prepare for their next challenge.

Las Plumas will return to action Tuesday when they travel to take on the Oroville Tigers.
